Boston Police Headquarters

Overview

This 180,000 square foot facility is located in the Roxbury Crossing section of Boston, adjacent to the Southwest Corridor Park. The facility brings together many Police Department functions into a single, state-of-the-art structure.

In addition to serving as the administrative and professional center of the Police Department, the Headquarters Building also houses all central police communication systems, including E-911 and all communication to mobile police units. Community services such as a day-care facility and 24-hour cafeteria are also included to help forge stronger ties between the police and the general public.
